With the latest upgrade available from WhatsApp, group Admins can now choose to allow only Admins to send messages to a group.
If you are a Admin and wish to block all users sending messages to a Group, you can do that now. With this feature, only Admins of the WhatsApp group can send message to that Group.
This can be done by going to the group, clicking 'Group Info' > tap 'Group Settings'.
Rest of the non Admin users will only be able to read messages which are sent by the Admins.
With this feature, non Admin users can still though respond specific messages privately to the message posted by Admin users. This can be done by tapping 'Message admin' option and respond to the message privately.
